Day One:  Cape Town

You are welcomed to Cape Town International Airport by your Come-C-Africa travel companion and coached to your luxury guest house for your first nights rest in
Africa.  D



Day Two and Three:  Cape Town
These will be enjoyed in Cape Town, the Mother City. The world-famous silhouette of Table Mountain watches over this cosmopolitan gem. Visits will include the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island and the Table Mountain Cable Way. A highlight is a trip to Cape Peninsula, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans collide.  B


Day Four:  Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch, the wine-connoisseurs’ Nirvanna! This exquisitely beautiful town, surrounded by world-class wineries and vineyards will etch itself into your memories. Wine tasting of your preference is complimented with haute cuisine at a traditional Cape-Dutch wine estate. Overnight accommodation is conveniently close by.  B


Day Five and Six:  Mosselbay to Knysna
After breakfast, we depart for Mosselbay, travelling eastwards through some scenic mountain passes (Sir Lowry’s Pass and the Hou Hoek Pass) and the rolling wheat lands of Caledon. We pass over the Gouritz River, where one of the world’s most unusual bungee jumps are situated. We overnight at a guesthouse overlooking the Indian Ocean. Spend some quality time on the beach the next day, before moving on to Knysna in the afternoon.  B 


Day Seven:  Knysna
Today we discover Knysna! Visit Featherbed Nature Reserve with its’ spectacular view of the Knysna Heads, the lagoon entrance to the ocean. Sample the famous Knysna oysters with some chilled South African Chardonnay, whilst absorbing stories of local legends.  BD


Day Eight:  Garden Route
After a wholesome breakfast we wind our way through the Tsitsikama Forest, over the Storms River Gorge and then experience a tree top canopy tour near Storms River Village. After an adventurous day in the forest we overnight in Port Elizabeth, the Friendly City.  BD


Day Nine:  Port Elizabeth
Enjoy a leisurely day in Port Elizabeth, shopping for souvenirs, with flexibility as to activities i.e. Elephant rides at Addo, hot air ballooning, gambling at the casino etc….(Activities for own account)  B



Day Ten:  Port Elizabeth to Hazyview via Johannesburg

Boeing flight from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. Luxury coach to Hotel in Hazyview, Mpumalanga.  BD



Day Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen:  The Kruger National Park

The next three days you will never forget. The vast expanses of this internationally renowned game park are home to an unsurpassed variety of wildlife, plant and insect life. Special effort will be made to locate the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard).
  Enjoy relaxing sundowners and traditional South African braaivleis (barbeque), in the evenings.  BD


Day Fourteen:  Mpumalanga - Panoramic Route

We spend a full day exploring the old mining village, Pilgrims Rest and natural phenomena at Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window, with its’ endless views. The evening will be enjoyed at a cultural village of the Shangaan people, filled with traditional dances and African food. Retire for the night at your hotel.  BD



Day Fifteen and Sixteen:  Waterberg

After breakfast, we head for the pristine biosphere, the Waterberg, in the Limpopo province.  Relax and refresh your mind, body and soul at a private game lodge for the next two days. Optional activities to share in are open-air game drives, guided bush walks and bird watching.

Day Seventeen: 
Johannesburg
Appropriately, your last day in South Africa is spent enjoying a traditional South African breakfast at the lodge, before being coached to O.R. Tambo Airport (Johannesburg) for return flight to USA.
