Day One: Johannesburg
You are welcomed to O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) by
your
come-c-africa travel companion and coached to your luxury guest house for
your first nights rest in Africa. D
Day Two and Three: Waterberg
After breakfast, we head for the pristine biosphere, the Waterberg, in the
Limpopo province. Relax and refresh your mind, body and soul at a private
game lodge for the next two days. Optional activities to share in are
open-air game drives, guided bush walks, and bird watching. BD
Day Four: Waterberg to Mpumalanga
Today we travel through the heart of the bushveld to the subtropical
Magoebaskloof region. The lush beauty of the surroundings is therapeutical
in its own right. Enjoy a good nights rest in this misty haven. BD
Day Five: Mpumalanga
We spend a full day exploring the old mining village, Pilgrims Rest and
natural phenomena at Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon and God’s
Window, with its endless views. The evening will be enjoyed at a cultural
village of the Shangaan people, filled with traditional dances and African
food. Retire for the night at your hotel. BD
Day Six, Seven and Eight: Kruger National Park
The next three days you will never forget. The vast expanses of this
internationally renowned game park are home to an unsurpassed variety of
wildlife, plant and insect life. Special effort will be made to locate the
Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard).
Enjoy relaxing sundowners and traditional South African braaivleis
(barbeque), in the evenings. BD
Day Nine: Kruger National Park to St.Lucia
After your last game viewing opportunity depart for the St.Lucia
Wetlands, via the Kingdom of Swaziland. Spend a relaxing evening in your
comfortable
accommodation. BD
Day Ten: Kwazulu-Natal
The day begins with a cruise on Lake St Lucia, a world Heritage Site and
home to hippo, crocodile and several hundred bird species. In the afternoon
take a leisurely stroll along pristine beaches where leatherback turtles
propagate life. B
Day Eleven: Kwazulu-Natal
Today we take a step back in time into the history of the Zulu tribe at
the Great Kraal of king Shaka and experience the ethnic power of these
people. Here you can feel the pulsating rhythm of Africa as you relive the
mystery and magic of the day of Shaka, the King of the Zulus. Watch the war
preparation of assegai-wielding warriors, share the fascinating secrets of
Sangomas and witness traditional customs such as the beer drinking ceremony.
Spend the evening in King Shaka Village. BD
Day Twelve: Kwazulu Natal to The Garden Route
After breakfast we will move on to Durban, passing huge sugarcane
estates and the rolling hills of the North Coast. Board your connecting
flight to George. On arrival you will be escorted by your guide to a hotel
in Knysna. Spend a relaxing evening enjoying South African cuisine and some
of the best wines in the world. BD

Thirteen: Knysna
Today we discover Knysna! Visit Featherbed Nature Reserve with its’
spectacular view of the Knysna Heads, the lagoon entrance to the ocean.
Sample the famous Knysna oysters with some chilled South African Chardonnay,
whilst absorbing stories of local legends. B
Day Fourteen: Knysna to Mosselbay via Oudtshoorn
Travel along the spectacular Outeniqua Pass on route to Oudtshoorn, the
ostrich capital of the world. Enjoy a guided tour of an ostrich farm.
Visit the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders. We
overnight at a guesthouse in Mosselbay on the shores of the Indian Ocean.

Day Fifteen:
Mosselbay to
Stellenbosch
After breakfast, we depart from Mosselbay, travelling westwards through the
rolling wheat lands of Caledon, we pass over the Gouritz River, where one of
the world’s most unusual bungee jumps are situated, and wind through some
scenic mountain passes (Sir Lowry’s Pass and the Hou Hoek Pass). Overnight
in the heart of the wine lands. B
Day Sixteen:
Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch, the wine-connoisseurs’ Nirvana! This exquisitely beautiful
town, surrounded by world-class wineries and vineyards will etch itself into
your memories. Wine tasting of your preference is complimented with haute
cuisine at a traditional Cape-Dutch wine estate. Return to your guest house
and enjoy sundowners gazing over carefully cultivated vineyards. B
Day Seventeen, Eighteen & Nineteen:
Cape Town
These will be enjoyed in Cape Town, the Mother City. The world-famous
silhouette of Table Mountain watches over this cosmopolitan gem. Visits will
include the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the V&A Waterfront, Robben
Island and the Table Mountain Cable Way. A highlight is a trip to Cape
Peninsula, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans collide. B
Day Twenty:
Cape Town
Appropriately, your last day in South Africa is spent enjoying a traditional
South African breakfast at the guesthouse, before being coached to Cape Town
International Airport for your return flight to USA.
